Companions' starting skills and experience are slightly randomized per save file.Īttributes, equipment and proficiencies are always fixed. But they will always have the same level, attributes, equipment and proficiencies. For example, Lethaldiran is recruited at level 42 and comes with Noldor armor and a Noldor bow and arrows, with weapon proficiencies over Companions have slightly different starting skills and experience between different save games. However, in most cases, companions are far more advanced than in Native and come with stronger equipment. Across the lands, you may find characters in taverns who will be willing to aid you Companions are much more expensive in Pendor, often costing thousands of denars to hire Sir Roland, the most expensive companion, costs denars. There's a million ways to become overpowered through qualis gems, knight orders, upgraded gear, noldor training etc that you can easily remove all challenge by, again, grinding. Either way it's a big grind that isn't even difficult. Problem with pendor is how grindy they made it. There's actually a lot to pendor if you play it for longer than an hour.
Plus those guys got hidden cities you can't find until later. The ai uses actual smart battle tactics and will do things like separate cavalry from infantry and sandwich your forces in between and other such tactics that players will use.Īnd after a certain amount of play time elite troops show up, like so elite 30 of them will annihilate your force of high tier troops.
He havent played the mod that long he does not know how Hard the mod can be or anything. So, I would say that if you have tried and liked some of the more daring mods, Pendor does not have much going on except for polish.īut polish matters! Last edited by Tuidjy 15 Nov, pm.
Nothing as good as SuvMa's or The Last Days', but once again Pendor had them first, and the newer, experimental mods are hardly known by anyone. New in the sense that before it introduced them, no one had them - custom knights, magic weapons, elixirs, rumors, invasion armies, Noldor.įor many players, it may be the first time they encounter such. But I still understand why Pendor is so popular. Pendor has slowly fallen out of my top five favorite mods, because newer mods have new interesting ideas, and take more chances with the basic Warband gameplay. Whats so special about it? Its got no fancy features other than the knight crap. Beating Pendor WITHOUT CHEATING (Impossible) - Mount \u0026 Blade - Prophesy of Pendor Īkbarogo View Profile View Posts. If I ask a traveller in a tavern, they don't give me an option to ask about Nizar, as if he was still with me.Home Discussions Workshop Market Broadcasts. I pick Lezalit, and Nizar doesn't come back.
I can't pick Nizar as he isn't my party anymore. BUT the thing "pick a minister" pops up again. Luckily Vaegirs immediately assaults the ungarrisoned castle and conquers it, and I conquer it right back. Anyway, the thing "you should appoint a minister" pops up. But I do appear as "leader of player faction". It's as if I picked "renounce oath but give back fiefs", but I even reloaded to make sure I didn't misclick. I do the usual thing to create a kingdom, I conquer a castle, Harlaus is greedy, yadda yadda I rebel saying I want to keep my fiefs.įirst weird bug: I don't keep my castle, nor am I at war with Swadia, though I am at war with every other kingdom.
